New paper published as an open access article in the journal Applied Sciences. The study presents alpha and gamma radiation measurements from building materials commonly available in Ireland, and across the EU. We created a novel method to calculate the expected total effective dose (i.e. the dose from gamma radiation plus dose from radon and thoron exhalations). You can read more about the study here .
